The requirements for applicants are:
- 1. Accomplished application form with two recent 1×1 ID pictures.
- 2. Endorsement and certification by the Principal of the school where the applicant is presently enrolled
- 3. Copy of official transcript of records and non-refundable testing fee of P75.00.
These students should belong to the upper 5% of their class and or should have a grade of 85% and above in all subjects. They should have a character rating of at least VS (Very Satisfactory) provided that they do not have a pending application for immigrant status in a foreign country and they should pass the accreditation examination in Mathematics, Science and Communication Arts (English).[source]

Unlike other schools which offers student loans, this school offers scholarship and free room and board to deserving students. In return there are some restrictions as to the type of courses that the student must take when he enters college. The successful applicant must promise to take a science related course upon entrance to college as well as there is a certain number of years that the student cannot leave the country to work. The reason behind this is that they must give back in service to the country that supported their education.
