The 2006 Biofuel Act, which calls for a mandatory mixing of a 1% biodiesel in petrodiesel and 5% bioethanol in gasoline, has been implemented last Sunday, May 6 2007. This is in accordance with the provision, that 3 months after the signing of the Act into Law the implementation will be undertaken immediately.
Diesel being sold at the pumps now have 1% biodiesel mixed with them.
