I recently went to DTI Davao City upon the invitation of DTI City Director Lou Pasawa. Along with Oliver Robillo and Andrew dela Serna, we met up with Craig Hubbard of TechnicaOne (Web Developer of the Project) and Dir. Quentin Kilian representing the Northern Territories who are sponsoring the business portal for BIMP-EAGA as a development partner. The two were in town to help promote the Portal to the local business community and related agencies.
Dir. Pasawa asked us to share our experiences with them on running an online community as well as to give feedback on what we think of the site.
The BIMP-EAGA business portal is a business matching portal developed by the Northern Territories for the BIMP-EAGA members. Each region has their own regional administrator who controls the addition of new businesses to the list of active businesses in the portal as well as facilitates members needs.
The underlying architecture of the site uses DotNetNuke customized by TechnicaOne.
