The National Nutrition Council (NNC) awarded Davao City’s Nutrition Program the 2007 National Crown Award. This was announced by Region XI National Nutrition Council head, Ma. Teresa Ungson. The award was given for Davao City’s Consistent Regional Outstanding Winner in Nutrition. This comes as a no surprise as Davao City has always had the reputation of being one of the cleanest and safest cities to live in the Philippines.
The NNC is officially inviting Mayor Duterte and all members of the City Nutrition Committee to the National Nutrition Awarding ceremony set
The awarding will be on October 26, 2007 (9:00am) at the Philippine Army Officer’s clubhouse in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. The NNC has officially invited Davao City Mayor, Hon. Rodrigo Duterte, to accept the award. Along with that invitation came invites to other sectors of the local government responsible for the implementation of the City’s Nutrition Program
